Orcs

Orcs do not have stories of their origins, but instead merely speak of Tannerok, the Blessed Matron of the Orcs. When the other groups of the world screamed in terror and sought conflict with the intimidating Orcs, Tannerok invited enemies to talk at her table, even while she still bore arrows in her back and shards of blades in her bones, so story goes. In the Korum Empire, Orcs play a large role in agriculture and trade. Their larger size and prowess is highly valued for harder labor. Only a few Orcs, breaking from lessons in their traditions, willfully take up arms to fight or serve in the military. Their larger sizes, tusks, green-shaded skin, and bristled dark hair stand in large contrast to other groups, and they live slightly less than a century.
Adults are from medium to large in size, have a +2 Con and +2 Str. Due to a strong cultural heritage, they gain +2 to History checks. Though taboo, if an Orc bites, it causes 1d6 + Str mod of piercing damage.
