Mini-session: Alchemy

Colt looks at you, ecstatic. "Holy shit son, how've you been?" He runs and gives you a big hug. "I thought I'd never see you again, son. I'm so sor-(aggressive coughing)" Colt falls to his knees. 

He's sick, with no known cure. He's ready for this ride to be his last, and he's glad it's with his son. If Alchemy talks about the orb as a means of bringing him back, Colt will dsiagree heavily with it. "Son, if this is my time, it's time. I won't run from it, and I don't want you to bend the laws of nature just to bring me back."
Have Colt talk about what he did and how he left because he was a coward. He couldn't bear to go back and face Alchemy and his mother because he didn't think that he deserved to be a father with what he had been doing. He talks to Alchemy about everything.
Then, Colt will say its time to gather the troops, son. Something like that.
