Starbound: Aasimar

The Starbound are a people from the Astral plane, just like the Gith. However, the Starbound possess a deeper connection to the Astral plane, due to their angelic lineage. The Starbound were children of humans conscripted to fight for Adonn and angels. They were sent to Ereanor by the gods, with the goal of waiting for the mortals to find them. Only then could they help them progress. They lived there for over a millenium, until the Order of Serene Souls found them. The Starbound have certain powers derived from their lineage and link to the Astral sea. They can perform extreme feats such as releasing divine energy as a powerful explosion, communicating and/or controlling Astra, and in the case of Fallen Starbound, drain the life force of any living thing within multiple miles.
