Dragonette
Dragonettes or mini dragons as they are sometimes called are not real dragons. They are a species who belongs in the dragon strand but are a small pack hunting predator who looks just like a dragon, but very small. They are not sentinent as dragons are and they cant breathe fire either. A dragonette seldom becomes much larger than an eagle and are mostly harmless to large sentinent species. But as they are packhunters they can prove to be deadly to larger prey if the circumstances are right.

Additional Information
Social Structure
A pack often consists of approximatley 10 grown up speciements where the strongest male and female leads the pack. They nest communual and there are always a few fully grown ups toghether with the children defending the nest and the eggs. When the pack hunts it is a well oiled machinery where a few on the ground tries to distract and lead the prey to a good spot where the attack can happen. The attack mostly comes from above where the hunters stealthily moves in the trees or flies high above.
Domestication
Dragonettes can not be truly domesticated as the wild streak will always be there. They can become docile, caring and take other species as their packmembers, but they have been known to randomly attack their handlers. But many magicians claims they are quite easy to turn into a familiar and as such there is a demand for Dragonettes by spellcasters.
Uses, Products & Exploitation
They are too small to make it worth trying to use the skin, teeth or claws to anything useful. There are some cultures who makes jewellery from it, but there is no real value. The meat from dragonettes are edible but it tastes really bad and are mildly acidic. No amount of cooking or spicing the meat have found to remove the acidic taste. The same goes for the eggs. But you can survive on the Eggs and the meat, but it will not be pleasant.
Average Intelligence
Dragonettes are a predator and as such needs high problem solving capabilities, but they are not true sentient.
Perception and Sensory Capabilities
The same as dogs
Body Tint, Colouring and Marking
There are two general species of dragonettes, the forest dwelling and the mountain dwelllings and the largest differences between the two is the colour of the scales. The forest dwellers are mostly green in different hues, while the mountain are brown to black in colours. Now and then a plain white is seen but they are very rare.
