The PCs found the ruin and killed the Goblins. They figured out that the Goblins were not part of the attacking force. They figured out that it was a strong disciplined military force from north east which came through the forest and went back into the forest. they figured out that something big started inside the house and walked in a straight line from the house to the ouside of the compound. Walking straight through walls and pallisades. They figured out that all iron and steel were gone.
During their boat travel they learned about seaserpents, and they think they saw a very large on swimming beneath the surface. PErhaps it was the grandfather of seaserpents according to legend, perhaps it was not. The sailors didn´t beleive them.
