Personal history
Born on the island of Ithaca, Autolycus was the son of Hermes and Philonis, the daughter of Aeolus, the advisor to the former king of Ithaca, Laertes. Autolycus had an adventurous spirit from a young age, and was known for causing mischief throughout the city of Ithaca.
As Autolycus cared not for the opinions of others, and thought little for the consequences of his actions. One day he made the mistake of stealing the blade of an Areite, and had to run for his life to escape. Just as he was about to be caught, Hermes himself descended from the sky and plucked his child off his feet and brought him to the shores of Eregost and away from the wrath of the Areite and his comrades. Hermes taught his son how to harness his divine gift: the ability to change form. He also have Autolycus a blade of pure adamant, forged by Hephaestus himself.
When the coast was clear and Hermes was about to bring Autolycus back to Ithaca, Autolycus begged him not to, as he wanted to see the world for himself. Hermes relented and allowed his son to set off for himself and see what Eregost had to offer.
Autolycus quickly started causing chaos within the Venatorian Empire, stealing from government owned supply carriages and banks. He used his powers to transform both himself and his stolen goods, making his escapes from the law child's play. For the last twenty years, Autolycus has been a blight on the Venatorian Treasury. Robbing supply carriages, banks, the homes of wealthy government employees and even the casinos of Venator Fortuna. As his infamy grew, so did his bounty, and today he is wanted dead or alive for his crimes against the Venatorian state.
Autolycus now leads a band of outlaws within Venatorian Territory, a strange crew of bandits, freedom fighters, burglars and con artists. Known as the Adamant Wolves, they have gotten the attention of Venatorian Authorities, but very little success has been achieved at dealing with them.
