Basic Information
Genetics and Reproduction
Like other dragon's fairy dragon hatch from eggs, usually from a clutch of 2-4 eggs. The speckled eggs can be of any color, with pastels being common. Fairy dragons will occasionally lay their eggs in a bird's nest, in an attempt to trick it into raising their dragon's young.
Growth Rate & Stages
Like all dragons, fairy dragons go through the same 12 life stages: wyrmling, very young, young, juvenile, young adult, adult, mature adult, old, very old, ancient, wyrm, and great wyrm. The age at which they reach twilight is unknown, but is longer than any other known dragon's. Some scholars believe that the creatures never reach this stage and are incapable of dying of old age.
