The main use of the rime flower is in alchemy and herbalism, mainly used in salves and potions of cold resistance, and in treatments for frostbite.
It can be used as a fairly powerful component in spells of frost, cold, and ice.

The rime flower survives in artic lands all year long and subartic lands during winter.
