Citadel of Wisdom

This Citadel is a fortress within the City of EverHaven that contains a tremendous library. It is run by an organization of monks known as the Bounden. The fortress is set on hills overlooking the city. It is walled and contains many towers. It has been described as looking at a cake with too many candles. The library is located on an area of previous volcanic activity and has many tunnels underneath. Anyone coming to the library looking for information is known as a "Seeker". There is only one true law in the Citadel of Wisdom, those that destroy wisdom are themselves destroyed, however the full laws are known as the Articles of Conformance. In order to gain entrance into the library one must supply them with knowledge in the form of a book that is not currently in the library. Once this is supplied the person who makes the donation is given a coin that will allow them entry for one year. It turns darker over time until the symbols upon it can no longer be read.
