DarkWalk Woods

The DarkWalk Woods is a small forest on the east bank of Engleden's Run in the south of Erellion. The forest is mainly made up of choice hardwoods prized for the keel and frames of the ships constructed in nearby Port Tavalo . The true reason for the forest's name is lost to time but several legends exist. Most of them consist of stories about a supernatural phenomena whereas an area of darkness appears, causing travelers to have to navigate through the darkness or become lost. Rumors persist of what becomes of the lost travelers that never make it out of the darkness.

Geography

A relatively small temperate forest known for it's choice hardwoods. It is located on the eastern shores of Engleden's Run north of Port Tavalo . Other than it's prized lumber it is known for it's mysterious pockets of wandering darkness that seem to swoop down upon travelers at unforeseen times. There are also many rumors of ghosts, many said to be those travelers who lost their way in the darkness.

Fauna & Flora

Oaks and ash, dominate the forest. It is here that Port Tavalo get's a lot of the hard to find lumber for the keels of it's ships. It is a site to behold in the fall as the leaves of the huge trees take on an explosion of colors.
