The legend of Happy Haunting Woods is a strange one. The name itself is an oxymoron... a happy haunting? The woods is said to be haunted by the ghosts of a newlywed couple who were killed while traveling south to make a new home for themselves. There is rumors of laughter and pranks being played by the ghosts but on the anniversary of the murder the ghosts are said to be on the lookout for anyone who is associated with their demise.
