Klasgar's Wood

Klasgar's Wood lies near the shore of The Crystal Sea and south of the Shadow Mountains . This mostly evergreen forest is home to a clan of druidic dwarves, founded by Klasgar Kragbeard in -218. The wood was originally known as Varenvall Wood but has been renamed in honor of Klasgar.

Geography

An unbroken forest of tall and ancient evergreen trees, this forest remains in the domain of the Klasgar Druids and is under their protection. Besides the trees there are springs and aquifers throughout the forest and an abundant amount of wildlife. The druids care for it all and make sure that a balance is maintained.

Fauna & Flora

Klasgar's Wood is known for it's abundant wildlife. There are multiple species of bears including brown and grizzley as well as a wolf and winter wolf population. Foxes and moose have also been seen here. The trees are all evergreen and most are ancient. There are also rumors of treants living in the forest, awakened by the druids to aid them in in their work and protect the forest.
