Laughing Coffin Fleet

A large pirate fleet made from all sort of races and lead by a demon named Vorlax.

Structure

The fleet is made up of independent groups of pirates that work alone from one another. A ship can function alone controlled by a captain or a few ships directed by a commander. However, each group is supposed to answer the call of the pirate king Vorlax.

History

The laughing coffin fleet was formed sometime after the fall of Kree when the minotaurs fled south. It was originally formed to combat the Sea princes and their fleets but over the years things started to change. As the Empire of the aquatic elves started to reseed back into the depths of the northern sea the laughing coffin fleet began to evolve into a pirate organization.
After the assassin of the Sea princes several captains and commanders of the various groups of pirates began a war for control of the fleet and its asserts. Many different view of how the laughing coffin fleet should be conducted emerged during this time. One of the more popular views was that they should return to thier former glory and take back the City of Kree while another popular belief wanted to embrace these new traditions of piracy, these two views slowly defined the war. A final battle had emerged with both factions suffering loses, toward the end of the battle a large explosion happened with a minatour demon emerging from the smoke and fire. His name was Vorlax and he assumed control of the fleet and cemented its name in greed, murder and theft for the coming age.
