Plated Coins

The Plated Coin is large network of shop keepers (bakers, barbers, bottlers, brewers, bowery, candlemakers, shoemaker etc.) hospitality workers (innkeepers, bartenders, cooks, whores, serving girls, etc.) and entertainers (minstrels, artists, street performers, storytellers, etc) that seek a fair wage and a bountiful customer base. The guild is able to provide these two things to its members from the the information it is able to gather though its network of associates. They use this information to spark envy, lust, gluttony and other deprived emotions in order to squeeze the last drop of coin from its patrons. Some say if you have the coin to spend there is no other better place than The City of Wayhill and its endless affair fulfillment and intoxication.

Structure

The organization is quite loose, each district within the city elects one representative that sits on a council. The council then selects the Master Steward who will lead them in debate and discussions of guild business. The Master Steward also represents the Guild at the Iron Table.

Public Agenda

The guild aims to keep its customer base within the city spending coin. They do this by providing lavish settings, fascinating exotic entertainment, bountiful rarities from all over the world and the best food that money can by. The guild has and old saying "Customers may forget what you said or your name but they will never forget how you made them feel".

The guild does not have any material assets that one can hold or see but instead they mostly deal in secrets and information. Using there quiver of entertainers and shopkeepers they are able to gather a large portion of information that they use to their advantage.

History

In the year of 807 when Wayhill was becoming more than just some mining village the need for a inn arouse. A few carpenters from the The Diamond Pick got together and built one The Silver Lining, the very first inn. After that many more were built including shops, taverns and other places of entertainment. The Guild was started to keep a common price of goods and manage the need for new buildings.
