Rusty Daggers
Not your typical thieves guild, this group of criminals has learned to hide behind legitimate businesses. They have established themselves by running gambling houses, whore houses, and taverns. They hire out members at extreme prices for shady work including assassination if you know who and how to ask. They have expanded to other cities and survived an internal war for power.
Structure
The Leader of the guild is called the Boss, he completely controls any action the guild takes. The Boss also represents the guild on the Iron Table. Below the Boss are several mid level members called captains, these captains run a crew of members that carry out the Bosses wishes.
Culture
Why work when you can steal
take what others have
more than enough wealth to go around
Public Agenda
The guild does not have a public agenda as they try to remain in the shadows.
Assets
The guild owns many taverns and inns in various cities. Besides this they have a large cache of weapons and armor, however their greatest assets is their strong ties with some of the other guilds.
History
The Rusty Daggers are as old as the city of Wayhill. Wherever there is money to be had, the guild is there. At first a loose group of thugs who bullied others and took what they wanted, soon became organized as the village grew to a town then a city. Soon they decided to find ways to make money on their own and started gambling houses, whore houses and taverns. In 985 they decided to expand to other cities where thieves guilds were weak or non-existent and have opened chapters elsewhere since then.
In 1048 there was a war for power within the guild and the organization took heavy losses. By 1055 the guild was fully reunited and is now focused on regaining their numbers and strength.
