Vernon is the owner of the Lucky Goblin Gambling Hall . It is rumored that he is a retired adventurer, and that is how he lost the end of his arm. He neither confirms nor denies his past, letting people circulate rumors about him. What is for sure is that he showed up in The City of Wayhill with a lot of coin and his own builders and constructed the casino.

Vernon seems to be hearty and healthy except for one thing. He is missing his right hand and half of his right forearm. In it's place he has a golden key mounted there and wears it as a piece of jewelry.
