Nuvium
Population: Approximately 5900; primarily dwarf
Government: Nuvium is governed by several wealthy aristocrats, led by a female dwarf named Aris Siniusil.
Cathedral Farthing This district is a large open square with several small shrines for sacrifice (of goods, not people). The ground is beautifully cobbled with large swirling designs and surround the square are small shrines for prayer.
Dragon's Ward Located on the west side of the city. This district houses the city’s soldiers and their families as well as a few private metal smithing shops. It is lavishly designed, but not overly comfortably furnished.
Notable Places:
This district is the “general store” district. Along with it’s many shops it also is host to The Crossed Spears, an abandoned inn with beautiful stained glass windows. Many believe this building to have housed mythical adventurers and that it is now their final resting place after completing their adventures.
Notable Places:
This district is as dwarven as it gets. The buildings are carved straight out of the ground and elegantly stout. Their craftsmanship is astonishing with many of them depicting different mythical beasts. This district is also known to host whatever few travelers the town receives.
Lower Demon's Farthing
While most of the city has been carved out underground, this one is especially deep. It is a mining area that seems to descend into the abyss. It is simple, but well made with square stairs heading straight to the belly of the underworld.
