Cystari {Erethes}

Cystari are a race of angelic beings that are normally associated with the heavenly planes, Being the main creatures residing in them, Or even being previous humans themselves.
Cystari can be found in each Heavenly plane, Almost never appearing in the hells. And while they are all technically the same race, They appear different and sometimes have different abilities depending on which one it is.
The Cystari of Valhalla are probably the most different, So I'll start there. Most people know that the spirits of Valhalla are the Einherjar, Warriors from every decade looking to prove their worth to the all-father. These are in fact humanoids that have been converted into Cystari, Without them even realizing it. The main difference between these and other Cystari is their appearance and ability, Appearing as people with a more physical looking form, They carry the power of the Bifrost.
Cystari of Elysium are there as the enforcers of the plane, Acting as statuesque guardians of the peace. Despite the stories of heavenly planes being perfect, People have a tendency to break anything they can, Whether it's systems, objects or each other, By accident or not. This makes the Cystari essential in keeping the plane as beautiful as it currently is. They're distinctions are that they will often wear pristine togas and bronze shin and arm guards, With laurel crowns. The color of the toga usually determines rank, With white being the highest.
Cystari from the Field of Reeds are usually not needed, Being there in case of emergency. They don't really have any special abilities or training except for slight manipulation of the Duat. Since the natural effects of the Duat or intervention from Anubis or Osiris is more than enough, And readily available.
The Cystari from Takamagahara are noble warriors, Who act like guardians for the dead, Protecting their honor even after death. Their level of training is second to none, All being personally trained in Bushidō techniques by Amaterasu herself. And while they don't have many special abilities, They are more than enough to stop anything that may come their way.
It's incredibly rare that a Cystari would be seen anywhere outside of a heavenly plane, Let alone in Erethes. But it's not unheard of, It's happened a few times in history, But not enough to not be very concerning to most.
