Darkstone

A Black and Dark grey material, Used in a variety of buildings and practices. One of the most sturdy and durable stone types on the prime material plane, They come from a large island in the south-west and can only be formed from cooled magma that is only found on this incredibly dangerous island, Which can make it quite the rare find if you don't have a reliable source to purchase from.

Physical & Chemical Properties

Darkstone can be lit aflame, Similar to how a torch works, However all you need is fire and a palm sized piece of Darkstone.

Odor

Smells faintly of sulfur, With a little bit of charred meat.

Taste

Color

Dark Grey to the point of almost being black in color, Has multiple lighter grey streaks on the outside of and within it.

Melting / Freezing Point

Never been fully tested, Just throw it into the strongest flame or heat source you have and hope. Freezes at around -50 Degrees Celsius.

Common State

Mostly found in a solid form, However can be extracted from partially cooled magma before it fully forms.
