The Thirst
A clan of Vampires operating out of Aeskrow Citidel in the Axtrian Pits. Based off of an older clan that originated in Coldharbour, The Thirst attempts to succeed in their goal of controlling at the very least parts of Erethes, All to appease their lord. The Thirst is lead by a vampire only known as "The Baroness", They control the clans actions and decisions ultimately. The Baroness has a select few that give out her orders, The majority of the clan has never seen her, Only these special few ever have.
Created during the year 7715 BR in Athrae, The Thirst have long been at war with the regions other tribe, The Dynasty. A group of werewolves bent on taking over Athrae for themselves. However, The Dynasty has access to a large network of tunnels under the region, A utility that the thirst simply doesn't have. So, The majority of the clan moved to The Axtrian Pits, Taking refuge in an abandoned castle belonging to an old king. Currently, There are a decent number of Vampires in Athrae, But not nearly as much as before. They use an old mansion in the north of the region as a base of operations, With most vampires living peacefully throughout the region. As of this moment, There are hundreds of vampires and werewolves masquerading as commoners in the cities, Biding their time until either side makes a mistake. Unfortunately for the common folk, Nobody quite knows about this or who can be completely trusted, Causing tensions to be high.
The Thirst was originally formed by a man named Virren Raeth, A former member of Alucard's original vampire clan. He sought to give his lord more of a presence on Erethes, Make the mortals fear him and his creation. Along with a few other ex-members, The Thirst successfully became a name known throughout the world. However, Many members saw his leadership skills as subpar, And staged a coup out of spite. Many leaders and members have come and gone since then, So many in fact that it would be nigh-impossible to list them all. And while the clan itself isn't currently making any moves, Many think that they're just waiting for something bigger. But until then, Most people just watch out for themselves at night, And go on with their lives.
