The settlement is made up of roughly 45% gnomes, 40% halflings and 5% elves of various backgrounds 2% dragonborn and 8% mixed other races.

Defences

Galfalos has military docks for the bulk of the nation's navy. The city is protected from the rear by a large volcanic cliff, while the east and west of the city are flanked by two rivers, running either side of the cliff. The city houses a strong garrison of the nation's army, including a regiment of griffin riders. The palace is strongly fortified doubling up as a castle in times of seige.

Industry & Trade

Galfalos is situated between the naval powerhouse of the Yánalâd Empire and the trade focused Quitulham leaving Galfalos perfectly situated to reap the benefits from both, often acting as a middle-man between the two nations.

Infrastructure

The canals of the city act as the main transport arteries of the city when getting goods in and out.

    The city is made up of many buildings that features domed roofs and tall marble pillars.

    Geography

    The back of the city is at  the foot of a steep cliff of an extinct volcano. There are two rivers that open up into a delta as they meet the sea. The islands created by the delta have been built on and reinforced, creating a series of canals that is used for transport.
