Sindony Castell

(a.k.a. "Bloodline")

Sindony is an individual who is currently a small blip on the radar of R.I.S.E., thanks mostly in part because she hasn't yet revealed her true abilities to the observers the guild has sent to watch her. The tall Altum woman served as a tutor and educator within the borders of Uxsager, typically for noble families who believed themselves to be superior to her despite looking to her for their education, and unaware at her family's history as skilled weapon masters and spies (skills that Sindony was taught at a young age and encouraged to pursue a life making use of them). However, resentments from this social plight eventually spurred the woman to investigate the potential of a Ley Font in the dangerous forest surrounding the @Ley Scar written about in a journal written by a traveling merchant her great grandfather worked with that had been handed down through her family over the years. She was the first of her family to actually act on what was written in the journal, and as fate would have it, the merchant had actually been onto something. Sindony now continues on much as if nothing had changed for her, despite her very prominent physical change with a number of horns beginning to sprout from her forehead, but making sure that the perceived superiority of the nobles who hire her is tested at every opportunity, using those who step out of line as guinea pigs for her to learn the nuances of her abilities.

Powers

Sindony's abilities stem around a concept of biological puppeteering, and through them, she is the most educated individual on Erlyse about blood, its significance to lifeforms, and the varying types of it. Capable of afflicting herself with a type of stigmata where she can force her body to bleed from any orifice (eyes, nose, ears, and even her pores if she concentrates enough), Sindony gains the ability to control the physical body of anyone in her sphere of influence like a puppet. Those caught in her radius of effect are not brainwashed or mind controlled, and are fully aware of their inability to control their bodies while she has dominion over them. The more she forces her body to exsanguinate, the larger her field of control.
Atop of this, she can consciously change her blood type at will, albeit it does require significant concentration and approximately five minutes to fully swap it. This ability to swap is necessary for her to be able to change targets she controls to fit her needs, as she can only control the bodies of individuals that share the blood type she currently possesses, and this is how she has learned that not everyone's blood is the same. Thus far in her use of her powers, she has noticed that exceptionally committed individuals with a high willpower can mildly resist her abilities at first, but once she has full command, that willpower no longer benefits them in defiance of what she intends to use the individual for.
While not a superpower, Sindony is also an exceptionally skilled warrior, and proficient with a fairly impressive assortment of weapons and more than capable of holding her own in a hand to hand fight if need be. Despite her flashy fashion sense, she also understands the art of subtlety, stealth and misdirection, having proven her ability to elude pursuit numerous times or infiltrate locations housing something of interest to her without raising an alarm.
