The Runebow is a +1 bow. Attacks made with this bow are considered magical.Adaptation.
Because this longbow has been crafted by the ancient elves of the feywild, it is not considered heavy. When the wearer would normally be too small to wield the Runebow, it shrinks and adapts to the wielders size. The loss in firepower is reintroduced by the runes.Runes.
The Runebow has 6 charges stored in the bow. These charges can be used to incur one of the following effects as a bonus action. At dawn the bow regains 1d6+1 charges.Rune of Ice (1 charge) During the flight, the arrow turns into solid ice. On a hit, the target takes cold damage instead of piercing damage. every creature within 5 feet of where the arrow hits, must make a Dexterity daving throw, or take 2d8 cold damage (half on save).
Rune of Fire (1 charge) During the flight, the arrow ignites into flames. On a hit, the target takes 2d10 fire damage instead of 1d10 piercing damage.
Rune of Force (1 charge) During the flight, the arrow turns into a shard of pure energy. On a hit, the target takes 1d8 force damage instead of the 1d10 piercing damage and is pushed 10 feet back or is pushed prone if the target cannot be moved.
Rune of Blindness (1 charge) On a hit, the target must make a constitution saving throw, or be blinded until the end of your next turn.
Rune of Healing (2 charges) On a (voluntary) hit, the target regains hit points equal to 2d8 + spellcasting ability modifier. The target takes no damage from the arrow and the arrow disappears from the target.
Rune of Power (2 charges) On a hit, the bow does 3d10 extra damage.
