a fairly young world that used to be dominated by an empire now known only as 'The Rulers', however the gods that supported this empire disappeared, the Empire falling not long after. With the absence of the gods there was also an absence of magic. That was until an object fell from the heavens landing in the desert, a massive arcane force creating a crater in the desert and burrowing into the earth brought magic back into the world, and new gods along with it.
