Wool moss
Appearance
Wool moss grows in hemispheres up to 1 meter in size on the ground and on wall areas close to the ground. It is dark green and has a soft and airy structure as it consists of many small fibers. When it is harvested, the fibers become light green.Habitat
The moss prefers to grow in dimly lighted, damp caves. It is also rarely found in dark forests.Usage
After harvesting, the moss is washed and dried. The dry fibers are processed into a thin thread, which is later woven into soft fabrics. The fabrics are used to make blankets and clothing that are soft and cozy and keep you warm at the same time. For this reason, they are popular with cave workers.Wool moss is also useful unprocessed. If there is an incident in the caves and someone is unable to return to the city, they can collect wool moss. If they then wrap a blanket around themselves and stuff the moss between them and the blanket, it stores body heat and protects them from freezing to death.
