Labelas Enoreth

Labelas Enoreth, or the Lord of the Continuum, is the chaotic good elven deity who governed the orderly passage of time and guarded against those who try to alter the path of history - associated The Endless.

Labelas Enoreth is known to oversee the long life span of the Elves and other long living creatures, including their lives after they have left the mortal realms.

Description

Labelas manifestes as an androgynous Elf with silver-colored hair and a single misty gray eye - the other is covered by an eyepatch. He wears multi-coloured robes of blue, gray, green and white.
It is rumoured that the reason Labelas appears to only have one eye, is that he traded one in exchange for the ability to see through the timestream.

Manifestations

On rare occasions, Labelas appears as a mist that might suddenly age or, more commonly, revitalize creatures and objects he envelopes.

Personality

He is a philosopher, a patient teacher, and an instructor who gives wisdom and knowledge to young and old alike.He strongly believes in equality for all.

Powers

Labelas can place creatures into stasis merely by looking at them. He can restore or age a creature, by up to one hundred years by touching them.
If a creature manages to travel through time, Labelas can restore them to their proper place in the timeline. He also slows any hostile creature within forty yards of him. Magic cast upon him that interferes with time has no effect.

Possessions

Labelas wieldes the Timestave, a magical quarterstaff that aged or rejuvenated those who are hit with it, at the discretion of the wielder.

Labelas shows his desires through subtle means and rewards those who please him with rare gems and valuable stones.

Worshippers

He is often praised but rarely invoked. He is considered by some of his followers as being Destiny of The Endless in a renewed form.
Those who worship him are those with an interest in ideas and knowledge, and the changes wrought by the passage of time: sages, historians, philosophers, and librarians.
Many followers are members of the Scholars Assembly or The Chestnut Unity.

Church

Labelas's priests are responsible for educating the young and promoting and acquiring knowledge. They are also record keepers and historians. They met in groves at sunset to pray, meditate, and mark the passing of another day by sharing prayers and knowledge. His clerics typically dress in light gray robes.

History

Labelas Enoreth has been linked to Labés City by name and the name of Princess Naivara Labéscient, who was named to honour him. Plus, by the faith of many of those who dwell within The City, that he will save them when necessary.
