They led the push to find new dwarven kingdoms and increase their status among surface communities of Humaniods.
Moradin's holy day is on the dual crescent moons and he is worshiped at forges and hearths.
Divine Origins
Moradin was held in Dwarven myths to have been incarnated from rock, stone, and metal, and that his soul an ember of fire - when Moatama was creating Moata Solar System, she pulled elements from the Planes of Earth and Fire together. It is told that he forged the first Dwarves, when Esau was still new, from metals and gems and breathed souls into them when he blew on his creations to cool them. Moradin was responsible for banishing the evil gods of the derro and duergar from the surface to the underdark places.
Moradin's avatar appeared during the building of The Hammerforge Palace to place the last stone and give his blessing to the new King and his decendants.
