Albin Hett
On the day he turned 18, Albin Hett killed his older brother Harvin in drunken duel. Albin was on track to become a knight of Lord Scarle at Seaperch, but all that changed when he was exiled from The Talons.
Albin sought mercenary work in Raskmoor, and he found it with the Wayfarers. Angry and fearless, Albin proved to be a reliable hired sword, but showed little interest in the higher ideals of the Lodge. That all changed when the Wayfarers went searching for the Saltwood Hag, only to be ambushed by her cult of changelings. Rocco Spayle, the Wayfarer captain, was killed. Albin defended Spayle’s body from the cannibalistic cultists, and brought him back to his family in Caldarron for burial.
The experience changed Albin. When the Lodge took on Spayle’s daughter Nylanda as an apprentice, Albin felt as though he owed her something. Geltair began mentoring him, and Albin’s nihilism was eclipsed by desire to do something meaningful with his life. He became a full Wayfarer a year later.
