Fabin Meer
Trader and smuggler Fabin Meer lost his family, his home, and his livelihood when his ship, the Wavedancer, was looted and sunk by pirates. The sole survivor, Meer barely made it to the Galdran shore.
Calling on his underworld connections, Meer discovered that the pirates planned to dock in Caldarron. He lied to Lord Churley and the Wayfarers, claiming that the pirates were vampires that posed a grave threat to the city – and it worked. Churley hired the Lodge and the pirates were all killed. Despite the deception, Aldalayne was impressed at Meer’s success in tracking down the pirates - and thought that his numerous shady contacts would be a great asset to the Lodge. As a result, two years ago, Meer was offered a position with the usual qualifications waivered – a decision that upset several members.
Meer’s dark sense of humour and fondness for asking unexpected, probing questions often annoys his peers – but even his critics agree that he’s an extremely useful ally to have around.
