Jixett
Jixett’s tribe was slaughtered 30 years ago. Knights led by Lord Swaddon of Jixhill stormed the goblins’ lair and put them all to the sword – except for one goblin baby. Swaddon himself discovered the lone goblin infant, and in a moment of twisted mercy, gave him to his daughter Clodie as a pet. Jixett’s teeth and claws were removed as safety measure.
Clodie adored Jixett at first. She especially delighted in dressing him like her favourite characters from puppet shows. Knowing no other existence, Jixett loved Clodie, but when Clodie got older she lost interest in her plaything. Jixett was locked away, heartbroken, hoping that Clodie would return to him. She never did.
Almost 16 years ago, Trazandi and Swaddon had a chance meeting at a tavern in Raskinna. The Lord of Jixhill relayed the story of Jixett, whom Clodie had abandoned some two years prior. Trazandi purchased Jixett then and there for the price of a round of ale.
Jixett was brought to the Wayfarers’ Lodge, where Trazandi trained him as an assistant. Rocco Spayle crafted him new teeth from castle steel, and Gado attempted to teach Jixett about his goblin heritage.
Jixett came to understand the abuse he had suffered in the Swaddon household, but felt little affinity to other goblins, finding them crude and vulgar. He focused instead on how he could serve his adoptive family at the Lodge.
Jixett spends most of his time assisting Trazandi in his lab and taking care of the stables, though he also dabbles in tailoring – a fascination that has endured since his days spent playing dress-up with Clodie.
