Old Koll

Koll’s life story changes with every telling, which means that it changes a lot. By some accounts, he assisted the Doge of Esharral, in others, the Urzikar of Arcanora. In any case, at some point in the distant past, Koll acquired a vast knowledge of magical artefacts.

The cantankerous halfling elder joined the Wayfarers some forty years ago, seeking asylum from a nefarious organization that wanted him dead – and apparently still does. Details on these shadowy adversaries are sketchy. As yet, no other Lodge members have witnessed evidence of their existence. Koll, on the other hand, can always tell that they are never far away, be it suspect tracks through the mud, unusual smells on the wind, or even an irregular vibration in his toes.

Though it can take some coaxing, Koll’s expertise on magical items, traps, gadgets, and rare artefacts has proven invaluable to the Lodge. Aldalayne has asked repeatedly for Koll to commit his knowledge to paper… but that would play right into his enemies’ hands!
