Skallaban Trazandi

Skallaban Trazandi is the longest-serving member of the Wayfarers’ Lodge, second only to Gado the Keeper. Trazandi signed up as simple hired muscle in 1134, and has since watched four grandmasters come and go. Trazandi broadened his knowledge during his years with the Wayfarers, growing especially skilled at alchemy. He developed new techniques for fortifying potions and mutagens, and through extensive experimentation, succeeded in immunising himself against most toxins (including, to his dismay, alcohol). Unfortunately, decades of alchemical dabbling have taken their toll – Trazandi’s vision has deteriorated to the point of near blindness, so he often relies on his assistant, Jixett. A popular member of the Lodge, Trazandi has been nominated by his peers for the position of grandmaster twice. He has twice refused, citing the same reasons: doubts that the thick-headed humans of Galdra would take a dwarf grandmaster seriously, and a terrible allergy to paperwork that no potion can fix.
