This insect like name given to a vehicle that carries daily ration for everyone in the mothership. Caterpillar made its round at 6.00 A.M everyday to drop a box of ration for every households. As the name suggest, this vehicle shapes like a caterpillar. Favoring length over width to carry more stuff. It also contain an antennae that function like 10 tons forklift to carry heavy loads all around Aranama.
Caterpillar need to be manned by three personnel. Each representative usually point out a candidate to manned the caterpillar every month. One personnel will be manning the caterpillar and make sure the caterpillar will not hit anything during its route. The other manage the list of names that they need to visit everyday. Double checking everything so there's no one that'll be missed during the daily routine. Last but not least, this personnel is responsible for ration management, ensuring that everything is inside and nothing left out from each and every boxes.
Caterpillar always plays out a catchy tune when it makes the round. Upbeat tune with 120 beats per minute always bring joy to the kid around the block. Knowing that they'll get their snacks and orange flavor juice that they like.
Asides from ration distribution, Caterpillar sometimes being used as emergency towing vehicle to move broken vehicle and heavy tangible object off the streets.
To be able to ride this vehicle, the rider needs one week training to get used to the controls and the usage of the antennae. Every single Caterpillar also need to be activated with retina recognition so it is not easy to steal this vehicle. It is also to make sure that the only three person that's been designated to manned the vehicle have primary access to Caterpillar.
