Aemon

Aemon was an elf of the high magic age. He was king of Fae'Kestral when the cataclysm ruined the city to its very foundation, tearing the land itself open. Aemon's immense magical ability prevented him from dying and instead the cataclysm tore his body apart turning him into a lich who roams the ruins of his once great kingdom raising his fallen people as various undead entities in denial of the cataclysm.
