a degererative diesease those that are killed while they have this are explode into a bright light, that inflicts 1d20 + their level +the bonus that they have to their highest skill in radient damage to every hostile within 30ft of them, while those that are allied with them are healed that amount, which becomes a perminant bonus to their max hp, as they have absorbed a speck of that souls energy, allies that absorb that energy have the name of their fallen comrade appear on a part of their body. when night falls they find that there is a new star in the sky.

Causes

possibly through divine contact, due to their soul getting out of wack

Symptoms

fever (the person who has the disease feels cold, however anyone that touches them find that they are hot (the longer that they have this the worse it gets) at later stages it is possible for their touch to burn people, and near the end just by near someone) a person suffering from star fever finds that their sense of hot and cold are inverted with fire freezing them and ice burning them.
speed is halfed due to shivering disadvantage of ranged attacks increased rick of spell failiure dc 5 con

Treatment

can be cured by a cleric that serves the life domain that uses 6th level spell heal. it is also possible that any cleric that uses their divine intervention may heal it.
due to the fact that the more definitive way of curing star fire is to have a cleric who can uses 6th level divine magic cast heal, it would cost a 360 gold donation. as such not everyone that contracts star fever is capable of affording this. if a person is cured of star fever then they will find that they become immune to cold damage and that their weapon attacks deal an additional 1d6 radient damage.

Prevention

paladins that have achieved a certain connectivity to the gods are unaffected by star fever. people that have a periapt of health are immune to contracting star fever while they are wearing it, if they however already have the disease when they put it on then the progression is halted as long as they are still wearing it.
