Misty Harbour

Misty Harbour is a village and dock near on the edge of the Murkwood Swamp. This village is the only place where trade from the rest of the world comes in, other than the road into The Empire of Vaughn. A small trading hub and strong fishing town, this village on the edge of misery is safely kept from many of the horrors of the deep swamp. It is however, vastly under developed, as is evident to any captain who has to dock with the rickety bridge that extrudes out to sea from the land.

Demographics

The village is mostly split between Humans and Yuan-Ti. Most are fishermen, whilst others work as traders seeking to move goods further into the swamp. One thing is true however, most of the population is poor. The richest are those traders who manage to hire enough people to keep their goods safe as they traverse the dangerous waters of the swamp.

Industry & Trade

Fishing is the biggest industry and export of this village. Fresh and Saltwater fish are caught and sold to traders

Infrastructure

The town has little in the way of public services, beyond the wooden bridges that link the houses and buildings together across the water of the swamp.
