Jǔduhou

High off the peaks of one of the volcanos of Isteria there is a floating mountain. While it is not a large mountain, it nevertheless floats there like a hovering smaller sibling of the volcano. Legend has it that a volcanic explosion urged on by an arcanic force of somekind left such a strong residue of magic that it has allowed the mountain to float there for thousands of years. Many believe that eventually this floating rock will fall from the sky but others consider it faith that it will not and so choose to make their home on the rocks circling the fiery peaks of Isteria. The mountain is entirely untethered, making it a relatively safe location in Isteria from the larger predators, only needing to defend oneself from the flying dinos that may be aggressive.
The tops of the mountain are covered in jungle like the rest of the isle, and a a depression in the rock collects rainwater that allows the area to stay hydrated. During the rainy season, the rock often appears like waterfalls are coming from the sky as the water overflows the airborn mountain onto the jungles below.
The settlement there is primarily 2 clans of the Kajuzurie who have taken a strong liking to elements of the air and sky and enjoy the safety of the mountain along with the incredible views it provides. However logistically it is very difficult to get to, and so the peoples who live their rely on their own to descend to the Island and return with supplies as those who do not live within the settlement rarely visit.
