Chantico, Goddess of Fire (shan-tea-co)
Chantico (named after an Aztec deity), is the Greater Deity of Fire, Volcanos, The Home and Passion. One of the eldest of the gods, Chantico is beloved by many for her contribution in the waking of the gods, and the start of time itself. She herself is one of the Primordial Four along side Estri-Aquis, Moradin, and Dhormos.
Chantico is also credited with the creation of the Teifling race.
Description
Chantico, Goddess of Fire has two main forms, a more humanoid form, and a more volcanic form. Chantico’s human form resembles that of a dark skinned woman, covered in stunning, vibrant red tattoos all over her body and her face. Atop her head sits a beautiful feather headdress with beautiful contrasting reds and dark teals worked into the coloring. In her truest, godly form, Chantico burns with lava and fire itself. Growing from atop her head are massive horns growing out wither side of her head which incorporate into this forms large headdress. It, along her tattoos/body art and typical style of dress take on a more Mesoamerican art style. Speaking of her body art, the tattoos that are normally seen in her human form, are now lava flows within her body, constantly churning and often flowing from her person to the area around her. Her skin and body itself appears to take the form of smooth magma rocks. Down her middle, starting in the middle of her chest, is a constantly flowing river of lava that pools at her feet. Floating halos levitate around her shoulders and wrists. These halos have worked their ways into the design of her holy symbol as they are said to be the ‘Mouths of the Volcanos Across the Sea.’ Lastly is her Volcanic Shroud, a mantle that mimics the appearance of a volcanic mountain. It surrounds her and is said to help keep her fiery passion contained.Personality

Beginning
Chantico is one of the first of the deities to come into existence. She, alongside Estri-Aquis, Moradin and Dhormos were the first beings to exist. The primordial energies gave them form and power though they lay dormant, one over the other. At the bottom was Chantico who’s fiery energy could not be contained for long. She burst forth through the crust that was Moradin’s body, and burst through Estri-aquis to the surface of the world and into Dhormos’s domain. This caused an event known as The Primordial Awakening.The Primordial Awakening
Having burst forth from the bottom pits of reality as they knew it, Chantico’s awakening woke up her sibling primordials. Her bursting forth created the first land as a hole was ripped into Moradin’s body. Though, the wound was quickly repaired as the lava created by the two was cooled by Estri-Aquis. Moradin, fascinated by this new creation encouraged Chantico to continue to burst forth holes and thus more islands. It is through this act that most, if not all, islands are said to originate. However, Chantico not only mingled with Moradin and Estri-aquis to create the first islands. Dhromos had noticed the effects their winds had upon her flames. As such, the two stoked the first fires together and it is through that that life started to bloom.First Life
Chantico’s involvement in the first life is very minimal. It is her flame that provided the first heat to the world and thus attracted the first life. She would later be contacted by Qhimjir, The Bird of Life and asked to provide a safe, warm home for their egg. She would provide this heat, which would be absorbed by Solarus within the egg, creating the Sun. Qhimjir and Chantico would then begin to work in tandem to protect the Hearth, Home, and family.Relationships
