Mahāmeru
Sitting at the center of Nirvana is the Holy Mountain of the Brahman. Many who wish to reach enlightenment attempt to scale the sacred mountain if only to meditate at the foot of the Trimurti. Fortunately most of these itinerant monks are functionally immortal, as the mountain is a staggering 673,000 Miles high.On the east of the mountain is located the city of Indra, named Devadhanicka, where the gods reside; on the south is the ciy of Yama, the lord of Death, named Samyamani; on the west is the great city of Varuna, named Nimnochani, where the sun sets; and on the north is the city of the Moon, named Vibhavari.
The Sun never sets to those on the side of the mountain. It instead revolves at such speed that the hours of the day can be kept in the same manner as on the Prime Material Plane. The day ends as the Sun passes the city Nimnochani, and begins as it passes the city Devadhanicka. Down the sides of the mountain run the four branches of Oceanus, the celestial counterpart of the River Styx.
