Personal history
Born to middle-class parents with his Twin sister Mayate, Meneba enjoyed a nearly idyllic childhood in the city of Mimedj. When he came of age, his parents had him mentored by a prominent businessman and caravan master.
While on the trail with his Mentor & Master, he was separated from the caravan for over a day in the summer heat. He was visited by a herald of Sobek, the Crocodile-headed God of the river. He was warned of the dangers of straying too far from safety, but the Gods were impressed with the youth's impetuosity. The divine messenger guided him to a nodosaur egg that was about to hatch. He would always have the young ginger-coloured nodosaur, Haty, as his constant companion whenever he traveled.
Surprisingly young to many, Meneba is possessed of golden-tanned skin from the long weeks of constant sun exposure. He keeps his hair and sideburns cropped short, and dresses in the light and airy clothing common to the region. Always accompanied by his companion and mount, Hafy the Nodosaur.
