The first functional human cities with a population in excess of 5000 people are built throughout the Esgur-Ladon river area, as well as several Freshwater Lake systems on the grassy planes to the west. These are the first to feature the now common central Ziggurat temple complex. Warfare between human city-states spikes to previously uncommon levels.
