Noble Rank: Baron / Baroness

A hereditary title passed down to the eldest child in a family, and the lowest in the hierarchy of landed, hereditary nobles. Often, Barons and Baronesses hold their fief directly from a monarch in exchange for service and allegiance or are vassals of other nobles. The Baron / Baroness's primary duty is to field an army in the Queen's name and generate wealth for the kingdom.

• Voting Rights: Landed nobles of this rank have voting rights. Unlanded nobles of this rank do not have voting rights.
• Titles & Address: Baron/Baroness [First Name, Last Name] of [Barony.]
• Crown Style: Silver-colored circlet with blue jewel accents and ornamentation. May be engraved or acid-etched.
• Authority extends down to those operating within their regional territory of lower noble rank.
• Hereditary: Lands may pass to a single-blooded heir. Unlanded claims are passed to heirs.
