Hair Channelling Magic

For many Fey and Channelers, they consider their body and its parts to essentially be an extension of the Magic that they harness. This is the most notable with hair, due to it being a good conductor of Magic; maintaining it is a common part of Magic use as it is capable of storing a small bit of extra Magic within themselves. This is, in fact, the primary reason why so many proficient Mages have long, well-maintained hair - especially for more advanced Mages, that extra bit of Magic that their hair provides could easily be the difference between life and death.
