Holding Crystals

Holding Crystals are capable of being used to store Magic inside of it, which can then be used to magnify the Magic around it. However, not just any crystal will work for this purpose. The Holding Crystals must be a specific cut and shape, with the type of crystal also oftentimes mattering to holding the Magic inside of it for longer. Low-quality Crystals will leak their Magic over time and slowly lose power over the course of a handful of years or decades. The highest quality of crystals, on the other hand, are capable of potentially lasting several centuries; on rare occasions, they can even hold their Magic for thousands of years.
Crystalworking is a highly-respected craft in many Fey and Channeler communities, though it is also very difficult and can take decades for an individual to master it.
