Founding

Whitespire School of Magic is an all-girls wizard academy established by Sovanna Saiph in 13243 during the Era of Peace.

The school is known far and wide as being the most prestigious mage school in all the world. Wizards that graduate from here often go on to be head mages for rich and powerful families, world leaders, and undercover organizations. These mages study for a minimum of three years to a maximum of fifty (at which point failure to graduate means expulsion). Students are sectioned by arcane specialty and classified with a star rank that is determined by the rarity of their specialty, their arcane ability, test scores, and battle scores. Most students who attend Whitespire come from powerful mage families or are recognized as prodigies of magic. Each year ten new students are accepted, and five of each class year are allowed to advance or, in the case of third-year students, graduate.
