Genasi
Children of genies who are themselves children of the Primordials, Genasi in Etharis are remnants of an era before the Dark Age, in a time where the primordial beings still walked the world. It was then that the first genasi stepped onto Etharis. Regarded with an exotic fear or wonder, these beings fill very niche rolls in the societies that tolerate their differences; however, superstition has killed more than a few of their kind. Common folk regard them as failed magical experiments or pitiful creatures whose existence is an affront to life itself, while others view them as a marvel of science and magic that should be studied and examined. Whatever the circumstances of their existence, most genasi end up outgrowing the life of a commoner and move onto adventuring as they learn more about this world, its secrets, and how it relates to their existence.
