Goliath

The last remnants of the giants of Etharis are the Goliath. Small in populace and secluded in nature, goliaths exist on the highest peaks of the world where oxygen is thin and the temperature is low. Acclimated to these conditions, these hardy humanoids are a hunter gatherer society that places a premium on competition and raw strength. Usually having no reason to leave their cloistered communities and strong / secluded enough not to have to worry about many of the horrors that plague Etharis, very few have ever seen one of these hulking creatures in person. However, something is driving the champions of these secluded villages into the civilizations of the world more and more lately. Nothing is known as to why these remote tribes are sending their strongest warriors away, but scholars speculate that something is ravaging their people. Perhaps the Weeping Pox has found its way even to the tallest peaks of the world?
