Emperor Aratron II

Only 12 years old at the time of his coronation, the young Aratron knows little of the world outside of Altenheim. Kept a virtual prisoner in his own home, the Emperor spends his time reading the Church approved books sent to his quarters, or attending one lavish ball after another. Renowned for his beauty and grace, Aratron has captivated many with his grand displays of affection for his subjects. On the few occasions he can convince the Hearthkeepers to let him walk the city, he sets about helping those in need. The young emperor's advice has brought good fortune to those that heed it, and his endeavors have earned him the moniker, "Child of Aurelia", among the denizens of the city. His musical performances are the highlight of any event he attends, and on the solstices he fills the halls of the Grand Cathedral of Aurelia with his rhapsodic melodies for all his people to hear.
