Lizardfolk

As the Elemental War in the Valika raged on, a group of warriors managed to seal away Iskalkesh, the champion and son of Lord Marakesh, ruler of Flamebourne. Iskalkesh was sealed away in a sphere of Adamantium, encased by a mass of earth and stone, banished to slowly move through the cooling and vast oceans of Etharis. while many servants of Flamebourne settled on the hot island, which, through the heat of the raging Iskalkesh, transformed into a destertland a race called lizardfolk arrived on this island through the Merge. the coldblooded creatures settled on the island easily, hunting the salamanders and using them for nurishment. As they got used to live on the moving island they built their own cavesystems with housing, temples etc. worshipping elemental powers and using the heated core of the isle for their forges. as other races visited and scouted the mysterious island, some of the lizardfolk travelled with them, spreading over the universe.
