Sommerkin

The Sommerkin were a sentient race ruling a larger part of what nowadays is known as Ostoya together with the human arrivals. The Empire of the Sommerkin was buried underneath the land as their royal necromancer Kasimir plunged it into darkness to protect them from a vampiric plague and cut them of from the rest of the world.
Not much is known about these folk nowadays, as an Aether Kindred consumed the rest of the species and knowledge about it. While there are still some races like elves, old enough to know of them, their memory, every book and every scroll mentioning them seemed to be erased from existence.
The land on which they lived was swallowed by the earth and it seemed like the eldritch being consumed everything that could be considered the culture of the Sommerkin. The Ostoyans, which found the City Below as the Darkfall happened, could not remember the fallen race and those which dared started to collect new information as they sent expeditions into the necropolis.Through depictions in ruined temples and houses they aquired some information.
The Sommerkin were multiarmed humanoids with a range from 1 to 4 pair of arms which also seemed to set a caste system, determining the rank by arms. a depiction of 8armed Sommerkin were only seen in, what is assumed to be, High temples and the Palace of the city below. They posessed a culture which venerated death and necromancy as goods to protect its people. Their Skincolor ranged from a light turquoise to a yellow, but the information can be wrong as depictions could be changed for spiritual reasons or the change of color over time.
